The First and Inaugural edition of Valiyora Marathon was started in the year 2024, and it has been decided to organize the marathon every year with the aim of encouraging and promoting sports activities and cardio based exercises regular in the region and its surroundings.
Along with this, it also aims to create awareness against all types of drug abuses. The organizers of the Valiyora Marathon are Machismo Runners Mini Bazar, Machismo is an association that has been inspiring the generations by organizing various Cultural, Social, Arts and Sports activities since 2007.
